2009 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Montrachet is another superb white burgundy made by the very famous producer. Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Montrachet is one of the worlds most expensive bottles of white burgundy and is one of the worlds most sough after wines.
Since the 1960’s DRC has acquired three separate parcels of land in Montrachet totalling 0.67 ha. Generally production is anywhere between 2400 and 4000 bottles.
The bottle on offer is from the 2009 vintage which was rated slightly 95Pts Robert Parker, it is known as a great vintage. The 2009 DRC Montrachet has been awarded a swag of 96 and 97 points by leading wine critics including Robert Parker, Jeannie Cho Lee and Antonia Galloni.
This bottle of 2009 DRC Montrachet was purchased from a very reputable wine company in Australia. Immediately after purchase this bottle was placed into climate control storage in Sydney, Australia and currently remains there. It has not left the climate control storage and the current owner is the only person who has owned this bottle. It is in immaculate condition.
