Description
1976 Penfolds St Henri is a blend of 74% shiraz and 26% cabernet sauvignon. Fruit for this vintage was sourced from premium vineyards throughout South Australia and the wine was matured in large old oak vats.
1976 was a great vintage for Penfolds wines, the 1976 Grange was rated 100Pts by Robert Parker, the 1976 Penfolds St Henri has received some very high scores from wine critics including 93Pts from Jeremy Oliver and 98Pts from Gary Walsh at The Wine Front.
Both bottles of 1976 Penfolds St Henri have passed through the Penfolds Red Wine Clinic 2000/2001.
