2013 Mount Mary Pinot Noir. Another great vintage for Victoria’s Yarra Valley. There are about 30 different pinot clones planted at Mount Mary, cuttings taken from 1970’s plantings at Great Western I believe.
This is a classic Mount Mary Pinot Noir, the 2013 vintage has produced a beauty. It smells of raspberry/strawberry, it’s long and slow to evolve, it should cellar for quite sometime, 10 to 15 years. Mount Mary Pinot’s have an ability to go the long haul, great drinking.
A highly rated Pinot Noir from one of the Yarra Valley’s best producers.
