Fruit used to make the 2009 Penfolds Grange was sourced from the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Clare Valley wine regions and Magill Estate vineyard. The 2009 Penfolds Grange is a blend of 98% shiraz, 2% cabernet and was matured in new American oak hogsheads for 18 months. More than 80% of the fruit used in the 2009 Penfolds Grange came from the Barossa Valley. The 2009 vintage was rated 8/10 for Barossa Valley Shiraz, Drink til 2034+
