Rewards of Patience – sixth edition. The 1966 Penfolds Grange is medium deep brick red in colour. A very classical Grange with archetypal Penfolds wine structure. Beautiful opulent dark chocolate/meaty/prune/dark fruit/ graphite flavours and silky loose-knit tannins. The wine finishes sweet and long. A rich, seamless and satisfying wine which still has plenty of time ahead.
