2019 Noon Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruit for Noon Reserve Cabernet is source from The Fruit Trees Block, Langhorne Creek, South Australia. This vineyard was planted in 1972. It is planted on alluvial soils with clay which helps retain moisture. This vineyard is known for its cooler conditions which ensures slower ripening. Noon Reserve Cabernet is generally high in ripeness levels but is complex and well structured.
Noon Reserve Cabernet is matured for about 18 months in American oak, (around 40% is new). Production is generally between 500 to 700 dozen bottles.
2015 Noon Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was made from fruit sourced from Fruit Trees Block and Main Road Block. This vintage was tiny. This vintage has sweet red berry and cedar aromas with earthy/mineral notes. Full bodied and composed. Firm tannins and a long finish and aftertaste. Cellar for 10+ years. Will require a good decant if consuming as a young wine.
