2012 Clyde Park Single Block B2 Pinot Noir.  The Single Block range from Clyde Park are stunning wines.  The 2012 Clyde Park Single Block B2 Pinot Noir is divine, what a great Pinot Noir, sorry I don't mean to bang on about it but is a ripper.  Made in limited quantities from Clyde Park Estate, Moorabool Valley, Geelong, and from only 10 rows of vines (rows 58-68), F6V7 Clone, 100% Pinot Noir, and harvested on 27th February 2012.  The winemaking process included whole bunch ferments in small open fermenters for 14 days, pigeage twice a day, then on skin post primary ferment and pressed gently and transferred into French Oak of which 40% was new.  The wine was left in original French oak barrel on lees for 11 months and allowed to go through natural malo.  This wine was bottles on the 16th January 2013.

This wine was rated 95+ points by Gary Walsh from The Wine Front.  Gary tasted it blind with 20 other Pinot Noirs and nominated it as the star of the show.  Some of his comments were "has depth and interest. Really good wine, there is a bit of excitement here" and "serious wine with an aromatic pheremone charge, silky medium bodied".
