2014 was a great year for Bass Phillip, their 2014 Bass Phillip Estate Pinot Noir is an utterly superb wine. Made from fruit sourced from vineyards owned and managed by Bass Phillip this vintage really is a shockingly great wine.  It sits between medium and full bodied, with amazing depth of fruit (plums and red berries), it's dark and deep in colour and feels like a dream in the mouth.  It really is a wine that possess the full kit and caboodle, geezers it's good.

The 2014 Bass Phillip Estate Pinot Noir truly is a great wine and it is amazing to think that there are two other pinot noir wines, the Premium and Reserve, made by Bass Phillip in 2014 that are even better.  You might argue that $85 a bottle is expensive for a third tiered wine but it is such a great drink, I'd argue that why would you bother spending loads more and going for the premium or reserve.

2014 Bass Phillip Estate Pinot Noir is sealed with cork , bottles sizes are 750ml.  I can't see why this wine won't cellar for a couple of decades, it is a mouth filling monumental super duper deluxe pinot noir.
