Wynns Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 1990.  Wynns Coonawarra Estate was established by John Riddoch in 1896.  It was the first winery in the Coonawarra and it is situated on the world famous strip of ‘Terra Rossa’ soil that produces fruit of an exceptionally high quality, in particular Cabernet Sauvignon.  Wynns Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon is more commonly known as Wynns Black Label, it is made from the top 25% of cabernet sauvignon grown at Wynns.  Wynns Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon is a very important Australian wine, it is very collectable, punches above its weight, very affordable and has been made since 1954.  It consistently delivers regional and varietal character and can be cellared for the long term.

The 1990 Wynns Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon is an exceptional wine.  From one of the best vintages ever recorded there isn't a lot of this wine floating about.
